Bruce became a TAB member 2006, when his business was Professional edge.  Professional edge was a software reseller and development organization; which he, his wife Debbie and two business partners started in 1996.  In 2007 following the sale of Professional edge, Bruce continued as a board member, with his new business, WK2B.  Bruce leads the “think tank” that’s responsible for creating his startup firm’s products and services.

Capistrano’s has been in business for over 13 years, and when I was approached by Diana Gats to join The Alternative Board, I was reluctant at first, but with her explanations of TAB benefits, I felt the need to reassess the business structure at Capistrano’s  and the way we do business.

I am delighted that after taking the TAB Business Vantage assessment. I have noticed few areas of improvement are needed to stay ahead of my competition.

In my short experience with The Alternative Board it has brought me not only new insights into running my business, but also it has shown me how much I love to hate the accountability of the group.

Before joining TAB I found that when I am out there “alone” it is hard to attack some of the details that “fine tune” a business.  As past experiences and issues are shared from other business owners, it helps me to not make a mistake that someone else may have already made.  As more eyes look at a situation, it lends itself to others, who are removed emotionally and physically from the issues at hand, being able to see the situation more clearly, thus presenting solutions that can impact my business in a positive way.
